A second layer can be applied after at least 3 hours and within 24 hours after the first layer. In case of renovation on older non-Rubio Monocoat products we always advise to apply two layers to avoid gloss differences between raw wood and patches where the old coating was still present.  We also advise to always dilute WoodCream with WoodCream Softener for the second layer. -
