Unser Oil Plus 2C ist seit vielen Jahren eines der vielseitigsten Holzöle. Sie können es auf Fußböden, Möbeln, Treppen usw. anwenden. Unser Öl ist auch ideal für Arbeitsplatten und andere Oberflächen, auf denen Lebensmittel verwendet werden. Wir können sagen, dass Oil Plus 2C Food Contact Compliant ist. Aber was bedeutet das?

Da wir den Spielzeugstandard erhalten haben, möchten wir auch sicherstellen, dass unser Oil Plus 2C für Holz verwendet werden kann, das mit Lebensmitteln in Kontakt kommt. Aus diesem Grund hat uns Eurofins die Food Contact Compliance-Erklärung zuerkannt: Food Contact Compliance gewährleistet die vollständige Einhaltung der harmonisierten gesetzlichen Anforderungen in Europa für alle Arten von Materialien, die mit Lebensmitteln in Kontakt kommen. Die Herstellung und Prüfung von Produkten für den Lebensmittelkontakt wird aufgrund gesetzlicher oder marktbedingter Anforderungen häufig als eine Notwendigkeit angesehen.

Wir können von nun an behaupten, dass, wenn Oil Plus 2C (A + B) auf einer **Holzoberfläche verwendet wird, die an sich lebensmitteltauglich ist,** die Kombination aus dem Holz und unserem Oil Plus 2C ebenfalls sicher und daher gemäß der EG-Verordnung Nr. 1935/2004 „Food Contact Compliance“ ist. Diese Erklärung ist das Ergebnis eines offiziellen Tests, der von Eurofins, einem offiziellen unabhängigen Testinstitut, durchgeführt wurde.

In der Praxis bedeutet „Food Contact Compliance“, dass **Schneidebretter, Küchenarbeitsplatten, Tischplatten** usw., die mit Oil Plus 2C behandelt wurden, auch für den Gebrauch im Haushalt unbedenklich sind, was in vielen Projekten immer mehr zu einer Empfehlung wird.
